Farmhouse Dollhouse: Mural and Tin Ceiling

I did a primitive style mural on one of the interior walls of the dollhouse.
I love painting these simple scenes! I could paint them all day long!

I made another "tin" ceiling. This is the same hot glue on cardboard technique I used before. The design is so simple on this one. I also added a wood rosette applique from the craft store.

Then I took this old paint I have. Super glob, half evaporated, thick paint full of rust and can bits...the best!  I smeared it on the ceiling nice an thick.

Then I added some silver and rust stains. I think I'll paint the rosette with color. Now I have to design the light fixture. It probably won't be a dramatic chandelier since the ceiling is pretty low. So I'm looking for some little bobble I can turn into a fixture.

This tile pulled away from the ceiling...LOVE it!

  1. ¡Bien por la pintura vieja! ¿Ahora tampoco hay que tirar los botes pasados? El resultado es fantastico. Espero ver cómo solucionas la lámpara. Besos Clara.
