I'm still having fun with dolls. My latest girl is Beatrice available in my shop. And I have a new dollhouse project!
This is the beginning of it. I'm hoping to practice my crookedness here! It's so hard for me to get things to lean. I'm hoping the chimney will come out super crooked??? We'll see! This one will be an old cottage also fairy style just one room. I already have some awesome wallpaper picked out.
And finally...
Here's Lizzie with her pink poodle taking a nap. Lizzie wants to thank all of you for all those sweet birthday wishes. And yes she enjoyed her tomato cupcake- especially the tomato part. Lizzie is some sort of vegetarian I think. She only loves eating fruits and vegetables. She's an odd one!
hugs♥
Beatrice is so darling with her bees and beehive--great fun! xo Jennifer

ReplyDeleteBeatrice is very cute, and so is Lizzie with her new pick poodle. My Stella has a pink poodle we call Mini Me. It's great the way they love their plush toys.

Hi Caroline, It is has been a while since I have stopped by. I love the houses and dolls that you have been making. a belated Happy Birthday to Lizzie, She is so cute and her new friend is adorable. I will be anxious to see if you get the crookness that you want with the chimney. I spent the day watching the boys ride and stopped off at the nursing home on my way home. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteBeatrice is a cute little doll. I love her flyaway curly hair with the crown and roses. She gives the impression of a free soul with all those bees in her hair. I'm very curious to see more of your new house! Lizzie seems to be enjoying her nap. Cute little poodle!
ReplyDeleteHello Caroline! I also like the looks of Beatrice and I also like her name. I think the crooked cottage is such a cute idea and a whole lot harder to achieve. All the best, but I know that you can do it AND do it Well! There used to be a nursery rhyme that went something like this.... "There was a crooked man, who went a crooked mile and thought he saw a 6 pence upon a crooked stile....." I can't recall the rest. I should go google it, cause now otherwise it will bug me for the rest of the night hah! Goodnight Lizzie!

Un caro saluto, Manu
I missed out on Lizzie's birthday so a happy belated Bday to her! How hilarious that she loves tomatoes!!! Her new pink toy is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love your new doll creation, too cute!

Hello Caroline your doll is gorgeous. I love her hair with the bees so cute. I can't wait to see more of your new house. Sweet picture of Lizzie.

Morning Caroline,
ReplyDeleteSo you are gonna try and make a crooked dollhouse this time, is that correct?? That should be fun
and challenging all at the same time.
Beatrice is cute, but not as cute as Lizzie!! lol
That pic is so adorable of her napping with her
new buddy. That is funny that she only likes fruits and veggies. I know all the dogs I have ever had plus Dee's doggie Rosie, all love my
beef stew, and they lick the bowl clean and want more more more if they can get it. Personally I think table food is much healthier for dogs myself, I think the vets say otherwise cause it is a money making proposition more than likely.........but when I was a kid all our dogs ate were tablescraps and they were as
healthy as could be.............so makes one
wonder!! lol
Hope all is well with you dear..........
Blessings Abundant,
Nellie
The doll is very beautiful and is the perfect complement to your houses. What joy to see your new projects. Lizzie is very happy to have so many friends. a big hug, Marisa
