Sunny Side Up Dollhouse is ready! It's another custom start to finish. It just starts with a drawing on paper. Then I decide what size it will be and I'm off!
This is lots of fun to do. The result looks amazing. I did both sides of the "glass" to get the ultimate stained glass look. Give it a try- you will love it!
1/16" bass. This is what I use to make most of the furniture.
P.S. For those of you who don't think you could ever make a dollhouse like this- just try it! I work with my sister on these houses. When she saw the design I believe she called me "CRAZY". She was worried about that little front porch. Well we did it. You can do anything! Go for it!!!
!!! Fantástica !!!!, es preciosa Caroline, me gusta muchísimo tanto por dentro como por fuera. Todos los detalles son muy bonitos, me gusta ese mueble amarillo.ReplyDelete

That's amazing and beautiful little house. Great work Caroline! How long does it usually take to create a house like that? Do you build it all day long? I only wish I could someday be as expert as you are creating these lovely houses, items and images. If you write a book, I'll buy it! <3ReplyDelete
It takes a month to do the house and the furnishings. I don't work on it all day. Just a few hours. You can totally do this. I started not even knowing what 1/12 scale was. LOL! I've written a few books. You can buy paper copies by clicking the links on the right side of the blog (the publisher is called Blurb)or you can get PDF copies in my etsy shop: cinderellamoments.etsy.comDelete
Beautiful and elegant house. The details and colors are perfect.ReplyDelete

It's a wonderful house, so many beautiful details and a warm atmosphere!ReplyDelete
Well, here is to another darling and charming masterpiece. It is just so darn
cute, I want to move in..........I need to find that guy who shrunk his kids. lol
So how is life treating you these days?? We just came back from visiting my
daughter and we are still basking in the glow of it all.....
So much for that tho, as I just found out I have to go with my sister-in-law to have her sweet doggie put down.....she has bone cancer and she is a big dog and they found out about a month or so ago.....so she has had several
bad days and it is just time, especially because she is so big.
I am puddling up just thinking about it, since we had to have our Molly
put down last Fall..........but gotta do what ya gotta do, cause we sure
don't want her to suffer a lot. It will be really hard for Susan as her
pets are her babies since she doesn't have children.......
You take care and if you read this right away, pray for us.
Thanks sweet friend,
Love and Blessings, Nellie
Wow! You did such an exquisite job! It's wonderful!ReplyDelete
