P.S. I've had a lot of questions about these buttons! I promise it's really simple. Acrylic paint and polyuretane, that's it! After a couple days of drying, the polyuretane is solid. 
And here they are! All pretty in their new spring wardrobe.
I did a couple of strawberries, flowers, lots of dots.
Sometimes I just have to do this tedious sort of little project! Of course, now I need to do more!! It's addictive!
All strawberries are covered with crystal seed beads. Makes them even more shabby chic!
I've handpainted all these buttons. I thought I would give them more of a spring time look!
This painting is done on a canvas panel. Great for leaning against something (very casual). Or you can hang as is for that shabby informal look. Or if you want a more sophisticated look, use an ornate frame.
The inspiration for this lamb is a sculpture I saw in an old issue of Country Home. The little lamb was on a fireplace hearth. You could only see half of it, but I loved the idea right away. From there I searched for pictures of lambs lying down. 
This sheep above is more in the primitive style. I like the way the light came out on the trees. This one is very similar in that the sheep is very light and the background recedes in darkness.
This church is like the ones you find in little English villages. It's very cozy. It's the first church I ever did.
The church is covered with broken pieces of terra cotta and moss. The roof is long pieces of bark.
This church is Mexico inspired. It has terra cotta pieces, moss, and pine cone for roof tiles. It is very large and I use it to hold a nativity scene at Christmas.
