Teeny Weeny Shabby Streamside Studio 1/4th scale

I bought Santa's Village kit. It's a set of 6 little 1/4" scale houses. I thought I would do something simple trying this scale for the first time. NAHHHHH!
I saw the bake shop and immediately realized it could easily turn into the shabby streamside studio! I wasn't sure if I could do this. But I'm now well on my way so I'll share what I've done so far.
I cut out all the new windows and door.
I carved out the downstairs floor with a box cutter type knife to get the wood floor.
I decided to put a light in there. I just taped the wires and switch while I'm working on this.
I also did the "tin" ceiling. I used my tiny glue gun to make the designs.
This is the fireplace mantle and front door.
I plastered the interior and sculpted in the wainscoting. I also hinged in the front door. That was really hard! Who knew such tiny nails would be so much trouble.
OK you can say it! I've lost my mind with this project. I just get carried away.

The real Shabby Streamside Studio belongs to Sandy Foster. You can see it on her beautiful blog My Shabby Streamside Studio.

  10. OMGeeeee! Now that is so tiny! Is it possible it will be cuter than the original? I can't wait to see this one done!!!! =)

I've been sick in bed for the past 10 days so I'm sure by the time I finish catching up with everyone's blogs this house will be long finished. I won't skip ahead to find out though. I'll torture myself and let the excitement build....lol. =)
