I'm still working on the Donut shop.
Remember the inspiration cottage? A Donut Shop print.
This is painted by Kim. I found her shop Kim's Cottage Art on Etsy and was amazed at the cuteness!
I worked on the door. I just carved out the rectangles using a box cutter.
The interior got a coat of plaster.
To cut little pieces of wood this cutter is a must. It will save your hands from calluses! I first heard about this from Norma over at Make Mine Mini I think. It's a bit expensive, but worth every penny!
Next I painted. The roses and flowers on the front wall are hand painted.
This is a piece of very whimsical gift wrap. I used white glue to put it up. The white wainscoting is corrugated cardboard.
This wall I painted the bottom pink with white dots. On top, it is white with tiny pink spots. The border is white cardboard that I cut with special scissors.
I made the little curtain edge using french knots.
I can't wait to see how it looks with the siding. I think I'll use popsicle sticks for the siding.
Kim's Cottage Art can be found by clicking here. She has so many adorable cottages to look at!
