Halloween Haunted Mini House

This is a large Halloween Haunted Mansion I made as a centerpiece for a party a couple years ago.

It was very easy to create a spooky house. The house is covered in a sand and paint mix. It gave it a great texture.

Like all my houses, this is made entirely of cardboard.

The webs are just hot glue gun strings.

The black cat is foam I've cut out. The pumpkins are from the craft store. But I painted faces on the Jack-O'-Lanterns.
Here's Dracula slipping out of the back door.

I painted all the little scenes in each window. There's a witch creating spells in her cauldron, broken windows, books, pumpkins, mummies, Frankenstein, a skeleton, a spooky stairway, spiders and eyes...
tI made all the tiny leaves, but also used real dry vegetation and twigs. It was a lot of fun making all the details!

  4. First let me say how sorry I am about your poor little Fifi...I have a Great Pyrenees who was poisened by canned dog food a few years ago during that big outbreak and luckily he was large enough at 135 pounds to recover but a freind of mine here in Atlanta lost her Golden Retriver to the same dog food...In both cases Pedigree refused to except responsibilty...an a happier note you are extremly talented...the houses you make a fabulous....My husband has been buying replicas of WW2 French buildings for his military layouts and we were thinking of trying to make our own one of these days....You certainly are an inspiration but I don't think we could ever create something as beautiful as you do....I really enjoyed seeing them all...especially Mel Gibson's cottage....
