Humble Cottage Dollhouse

I made Humble Cottage to be like an old stone house you'd find for sale in a little European village. It's got that empty for ages look about it!
I didn't add too many details. The person who will buy this one will want to have all the fun finishing it just the way they like!

Everything is super aged inside and out.  Like stepping into an old abandoned house.

  1. Hi Caroline! I treasure old stone houses. A few years back, I used to bike in a beautiful, old area of Ottawa and there were a few old stone houses that I always stopped to admire. I could never get enough of them. There is something so enigmatic about old stone houses. They awake my imagination! They are so evocative of an ancient way of life come and gone! Your miniature stone house is a little jewel!

  2. I think this one is my favourite of all your creations yet! If I had the $ it would be mine in an instant! Fabulous work, right down the the very last detail. I stopped over at your Etsy store too - so many pretty things you have made over there! You go gal! :o) Seriously LOVE this one... Very inspiring!

  10. Hi Caroline, Your humble house makes me think of some of the vacant houses that we have seen in our tootling that you wonder why they are vacant. You think about the stories that could be told only if the walls could talk. I always enjoy visiting and seeing what you are doing now. Have a great day. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.

  11. Fast and excellent work. The house is very nice. I love the pattern on the wallpaper and the French table "for sale". My dream is to see some of your empty houses with the interior of the new owners...But maybe it no need)))

  14. Morning Caroline,
Love your new humble cottage and someone is gonna have a lot of fun with it I am sure. It is very shabby chic I think. Cause it reminds me of all the really chippy well used looking furniture you see in a very minimally decorated house.
Hope whoever buys it sends you a picture of how they love they love it with their own ideas..........
    that would be neat.......
Well, you keep up the good work,
it is always fun to see what you are doing.

Hope you are doing well my friend,
Take Care and have a fun and safe weekend,
    Blessings, Nellie
