Another Teeny Weeny Streamside Studio Dollhouse

I made another Teeny Weeny Streamside Studio Dollhouse.
This is a quarter scale size dollhouse. It's entirely custom.  I made it out of the wood in the veneer section of Hobby Lobby.   I wanted to make another one to keep some templates of it. It would make an adorable kit - if I ever decide to sell kits!
I just knew I wanted it 5 or 6 inches tall. Besides that I just winged it.  It's such an easy design now that I've made this house so many times.
The wood siding is scored directly onto the wood.
The foundation is concrete.  The columns are table spindle legs.
Last time I made this small teeny house I plastered the interior. This time I just scored the wood.  It looks much cleaner.

 It measures 6" tall x 6" deep x 4 3/4" across. And the porch: 1 1/8" deep. The interior: 4" deep3 1/2" across 5" tall and the loft: 2 3/4" deep.

The underside hides the battery and switch.

  6. It is so incredible that something so small can be so detailed to look at. You make some amazing Cottage. I think it could be successful if you sold kits for your Cottage.
Unfortunately I could not buy the New York Times the day they wrote about you, they are only sold in Denmark at weekends. But I was on their website and read the article, so beautiful.

  17. So Beautiful Caroline! And I think it's a great idea to do 1/4 scale! It takes up less space, and all the scenes I've seen in quarter scale I've fallen in love with. I've seen a couple of quarter scale scenes done in a teacup. I'd love to do that someday :)
