Somewhere in France Custom Dollhouse Update 2

The interior of Somewhere in France is nearly done.
Just the attic stairs missing and the living room window panes.

The attic is huge. Lots of room to play!

The door surround will be stone.

We're almost done!  The next post will be the completed house.
hugs,
Caroline

  1. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter! I have been checking regularly to see the update on this large home. I love how you made the open windows....and the lace curtains on both sides of the 2nd floor look as if a gentle French breeze is blowing through. The chippy aging on the doors and trim give such a vintage look to the home. And look at all of those light fixtures and chandeliers throughout.....lots of tricky wiring to fit it all in and hide it I am sure! Cinderella Moments has been busy, busy, busy! I am excited to see the completed exterior. Thanks again for sharing. :)

I love the 2 sets of french doors, all of the windows and the roomy attic, which by the way
    actually LOOKS like an Attic-
    Well Done!!! :D

  7. It's looking lovely. Hooray, you've also made a back to front staircase. Or is it just the first time I notice? I had so much trouble with the staircase in my house the other day, and that turned out to be the best solution. I love the colours, layout and style of your house. And the attic is to die for. I can just imagine stuffing it with all kinds of treasures.
