Weekend Chateau dollhouse is done and ready to ship to her new owner Debbie. I actually got the name of this house from one of Debbie's messages. She described it as a weekend chateau and I thought that would be a perfect name.
This dollhouse is just like "Somewhere in France" which I made a couple months ago. There are a couple of changes here and there.
The house is 26 3/4" tall x 22" deep x 23 1/2" across. I tried adding a little porch roof over the door and a longer porch floor that stretches end to end.
That's a Melissa Frances embellishment crown over the door.
The interior is slightly less distressed.
This is the bedroom. Debbie sent this chandelier. I slid a lightbulb in the middle of it. Looks gorgeous!
Can you imagine this attic filled with old stuff!
The next project is for Kellie. It's a Christmas theme!
hugs,
Wonderful house, I love the distressed look. The exterior is fantastic.
