La Patisserie de la Reine - a Commissioned Dollhouse Part 4

The interior is almost completed. La Patisserie de la Reine has definitely got that opulent baroque style.

All the trims and embellishments are painted and aged.

All the chandeliers and wiring are done.
Here's how these domed windows are done. Use cardboard! As I mentioned before, the spackling will harden the cardboard to a rock hard finish. So there's no use cutting wood for this.
Use hot glue to get your shape quickly tacked down. You don't want to use a regular white glue that will wet your cardboard.  For the cardboard that needs to dome, you can use gift boxes. Those are the perfect thickness.

There's now trims on all the windows.
And here's how the wiring is brought up to the top of the roof.

I also did the curtains for the tea room.
I used lace fabric that I sprayed stiff with hairspray and glued in place. There are 2 different color embroidery floss as bows.
Now the adornments for the exterior.

The step is popsicle sticks and cardboard. These will be covered in concrete.

The house is painted white. I use a premium primer/paint by Behr. It's such a good quality paint.

The next post will have the completed house!
Thanks for taking a look!
