This is a commissioned piece for Mme. Merveilleuse of a half scale storybook cottage. If you have been with me for a long time, you will remember this house as Miss Read's. This dollhouse is made from scratch with no kits.
This house with the base is 11 1/2" x 8 3/4" x 12 1/2" tall. The house itself is 11" across x 8" deep x 12" tall. Interior down larger room is 4 3/8" tall x 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" deep. The smaller room is 4 1/4" x 5 1/8". Upstairs the large room is 6 1/2" x 6 5/8" x 6" tall. The small room is 2 1/4" x 5" x 4 3/4" tall.
Inside the chimney is the push switch for the lights and the battery.
