Gypsy Cottage Dollhouse

Inside, I've finished the wood floor and did a fabulous plank board wall and the front door.
This board wall is all different size and worn paint colors. I used left over bits of wood to get this aged wall look.
Each piece of wood has an uneven coat of paint.
The mantel is decorated with a flower garland. I painted some roses too.
The attic is also underway. I put one beam up. The first coat of paint is on.
This side of the cottage has a fake window and an aviary.  I got the idea from a Pinterest picture below.
So far I built this little box like structure with 9 little holes. Then I'll put concrete all around and a decoration above.
I added a little porch to the front.
Thanks for coming By!

  7. You are creating hot stuffs! I have often played into doing houses of cardboard when I was still a child. Now I am sewing dolls and I am dreaming of creating accessories for them (pieces of furniture, houses, and the like) of only a time lack, of tools (because if to form it now of wood), and experience. But your blog fascinated me and so inspired perhaps in the end at one time somehow I will focus myself:) I am greeting warmly and I wish further beautiful works!

  16. The board wall painted different colours is so gypsy like. I love that. Your front stained glass window is so pretty. I couldn't stop looking at it. I have such a penchant for blue! How unique to paint a fake window and the aviary on top is so precious! I also love how you've done the exterior of the house. I love how you've aged it! I can't wait to see it when it's all finished!
