I could instantly visualize this post office with a yellow door and gray siding.
I left the bottom of this window open so people could pick up packages and letters.
The mailbox is cardboard.
I put my battery and switch behind the sign.Inside, I did one wall with really cute green checkered wallpaper. It brightens things up in a sweet way.
I made the shelving with wood. That was a lot of cutting, fitting, re cutting. LOL! You get the idea.
I also made the counter from wood.
I printed cards off the internet.
I decided to keep the light fixture on the more simple side.
The mini blind is a bamboo place mat I cut and painted with just one coat of white for a very rustic finish.
Thanks for coming over and looking at the post office dollhouse! I hope Karissa's daughter has hours of fun with it.
I hope everyone is doing well and having lots of fun!
What a cute little building, Caroline. I love those little shelves filled with packages and letters. That green wallpaper is very pretty. It adds a touch of sweetness to what is usually a boring place to go to. But not your little post office, Caroline. I would love to work there, actually. I like the open the window and the hand sign. Nice touch! Another winner! I'm sure this little girl will enjoy her playtime very much.
