This time I worked on an unfurnished cottage dollhouse that's ready for its new owner's decorating touches: The Getaway Cottage custom dollhouse.
I kept it simple and neutral all in white. It's just like a design I did a long time ago called Sprinkled With Love Cottage.
This house took about a week to complete.
It's 18 1/2" tall x 132" wide x 15"long.
The next house is one of my more complicated "L" shaped houses. I've already cut it out and made the chandeliers for it.
Have a gorgeous day!
hugs♥,
Just incredible! Wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteFor my own understanding, is this a 1/12 scale? Or/and can you provide dimensions? Trying to get my head around the actual size of this.
Thank you for sharing!
Nevermind. I'm an idiot! I just glossed over the dimensions included between the photos.
ReplyDeleteBravo again!
John.
Lol! Thank you John!
DeleteThe new owner will have love the little cottage and will have so much fun decorating. I am wondering how you embossed the roses on the front door. Such a great detail. And I am still trying t figure out how make such a realistic vining on the side of the house. I keep playing.
ReplyDeleteUna semana??? Me parece un tiempo record!! Se ve deliciosa, tan coqueta y luminosa! Me encantaría verla decorada! :)

A gorgeous house! It would have taken me one year just to plan a house and never as beautiful as this one. I love it. I also love the way you hid the light cables in the chimney.

ReplyDeleteAnd you made it ready in one week!? Wow!

Was just curious as to how you display your houses in your house.
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea! I usually have them on a dresser waiting to be wrapped up. But They only spend a short amount of time out. I bubble wrap them as soon as I'm done with the photos so they don't get damaged or dusty. They go into a cupboard awaiting their shipping day. Great question!
Deletehugs♥,
Caroline
I was wondering where you display your dollhouses in your home?
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline...Your sweet new cottage will be such a joy for it's new owners and what fun they'll have decorating it...the neutral palette will look fantastic whatever "look" they decide to go with. Those dormer windows are amazing and must have been so tricksy to make. The high ceilings, white floors and roof tiles are all just superb. Lovin' your work:-) Hope you're having an awesome weekend and not working too hard on your new cottage creation:-)
ReplyDeleteOne week?! You are truly amazing. I have dreams to build a dollhouse one day like you do. :) Love the "cutout" in the back where you can access the inside of the house.
