The Blank Canvas Dollhouse

I created this dollhouse when a couple people contacted me to make a house that was decorator ready. They said they didn't have the time or space to make it. So here is the blank canvas Dollhouse!
I like it just the way it is all white. I'd move in here! I used the Greenleaf "Orchid" kit.
It seem that not everyone enjoys instruction manuals as much as I do.
The roof has a very light wash of gray on it.
This would be so easy to turn into a shabby chic/beach cottage. I must restrain myself!!!

  1. That is lovely! If it were me, I'd have a hard time not having you decorate the whole thing for me!

  2. Oh wow! This is lovely, I agree! I am expecting my first dollhouse kit to come today (the half scale Fairfield) and it would be super to paint it up all white like this....good food for thought! Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. Hi Caroline, I like your little house and I would love to see how they are going to decorate your house. I can picture in my mind what I think you would do after watching you make so many wonderful ones. I enjoy all of the details coming to life. Hope your week got off to a good start. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

  6. Oh my! You get me all excited with your doll houses! I have made this kit for a friend. Only she wished it to be blues and browns.
I adore your all white house...the shingles, the flooring....*swoon*....
Thank you for always inspiring me!
    Hugs,

  7. I think it looks beautiful all white and the roof tiles are so effective with that light grey wash. It's just crying out for sun-bleached shabby chic decor. So, so tempting. Judith x

  11. This charming little house is so beautiful! She brings to mind a young bride on the morning of her nuptials just waiting to be attired!

  12. Yu're right, it's really charming all white and the grey mixes on the roof are really lovely and warm looking. I used to think grey was a totally 'nothing' colour but these days I really love it and appreciate the complexity of all the different shades.
