Paper Sailboat
Remember the bathtub I made for the Gypsy Trailer? I told you I knew what to do with it! It's a Dream Boat! I listed it in my shop.
This is what it looked like in the trailer. Well I decided to go with another tub. And I knew this one would become a sailboat.
The masts are two old paintbrushes. They are ones I used so much that there was hardly any bristles left! I always keep them because I love the worn look with all the paints . I painted the sail just like the outside of the Gypsy Trailer.
This is the back.
A little paper clay cupcake at the top for sweet dreams! I just shaped this by hand. No molds here!
These are little fabric roses(see my rose tutorial) on crepe paper ruffles.
I think it looks better as a sailboat then a bathtub.

ReplyDeleteThat is just the most adorable thing!
A dream boat! You did a wonderful job and I think that is gonna be gone very quickly from your etsy shop.
Love the painting you did on the sail, very nice!!
You were right it does look better as a boat than a tub, especially when it is all gussied up like this one!!
Adorable!!
Have a good week hon,
