Shabby Streamside Studio Dollhouse 3

Here's the update on the little studio dollhouse!  I had a little dollhouse building  accident Thursday and had to go for an emergency room visit. I was working on the shingles when the big scissors fell off the table and straight into my big toe. So off I went for a couple of stitches and a tetanus shot.  I'm OK though. Just have to go back to get it checked out tomorrow and then to get the stitches out in 10 days. Hopefully, everything heals well. Anyways! Back to minis...
I finished the front.

This is the porch ceiling. All popsicle sticks
And the floor of the porch.
I wired all 3 lights to 1 switch. This light kit is powered by a 9 volt battery which I'll hide in the upstairs curtains.

I'll try to finish it up tomorrow. We'll see how it all comes together. It will be ready to go home to Cheryl Monday for sure.

  4. The house looks lovely, but, I cringe at the thought of the scissors! :( I hope it heals quickly and is not too painful!

  6. I *LOVE* all the windows on the side of the cottage...it reminds me of my grandmother's sun porch along the side of her little Victorian house. This house is a dream come true...I love it...

  7. Thanks everybody! I went for a check up and everything looks good. No pain at all. I'm pretty lucky there. Finding shoes to wear has been my biggest problem.
    Love you guys!

  9. Hi Caroline! So sorry about your accident, but I'm so glad you're on the mend too. I love this house! I'm interested in how you do the wiring, especially since I recently won a small house of my own. Your chandeliers are always a treat to see! BTW, I have a cute kawaii giveaway going on that could be a perfect gift for your sister! ;-)
