Cozy Cottage Dollhouse

I've been working on the interior of Cozy Cottage.  This one has a dark palette.
The wallpaper, which I found by doing a google search of images, is a collage of postcards.
I went all dark with the other wallpaper. It's midnight black with just a touch of dark blue in it and cream trellis.
The woodwork is all old, dark wood. Like a walnut I suppose.
There's a little bay window on this wall.
The ceiling is planked and beamed for a super cozy look.
Do you see someone here?  This is Bunny.  My sister's cat. I found her in a tree and she's been like my sister's dog ever since. That's right dog! She isn't very cat like. LOL!

  1. This dark paper is quite a departure from your usual houses. I'm really enjoying seeing what you're doing with it and am chomping at the bit to see the completed house. Bunny is adorable, BTW! xo Jennifer

  23. Very nice composition of wallpaper. Your wallpaper is also good for the very brown wood color.
Thanks for your holiday greeting. I do not know when you vacated the Alsace region, but it is quite adventurous in this area and your house is so incredible adventurous to. I think you might gather some of your inspiration from this area. You have a special deal when you decorate your house exterior, there is certainly plenty of that in Alsace.
