Sugared Violet Dollhouse

I've been working on a new dollhouse. I'm calling it the Sugared Violet because the ceiling is a light purple color.
I used the Buttercup kit by Greenleaf. I changed the front door position to the left side of the house and turned the middle area into a 3 sided display window.
I painted the walls and floor white. And I did a first coat on the ceiling with a light blue.
I have a coat of light purple on the ceiling. I'll probably get a second coat on.

My first GIVEAWAY!

I have wanted to do one of these giveaways for a while now. So here it is as a special thanks to everybody.

I made a Victorian style shabby chic  mantel. Everything is handmade.

The cupcake is an original painting. The glitter "Putz" style houses, present and 3 seashells are all glued to the top.

The fabric bunting has tiny white flowers and a pink bow.

I made "tin" tiles for the inside of the fireplace and included a floral arrangement on moss for an extra romantic look.

Shabby Streamside Studio Dollhouse 3 Finished!

OK this was a tough one! LOL! My big toe suffered for the art.  ;D  But it's all done and ready to go to its new owner Cheryl. : )

The shabby chic mantel has 4 "tin" tiles inside. On top of the mantel, I glued the glittered house and a shabby mirror just like the real studio.

I love this studio. And I know all of you share my obsession with Sandy Foster's perfectly perfect little cabin. Here's where you can see the real thing: My Shabby Streamside Studio. Thanks Sandy for allowing me to make mini copies of your gorgeous hideaway!

You've waited long enough Cheryl! I'm sending it your way tomorrow. Thanks so much!!

Shabby Streamside Studio Dollhouse 3

Here's the update on the little studio dollhouse!  I had a little dollhouse building  accident Thursday and had to go for an emergency room visit. I was working on the shingles when the big scissors fell off the table and straight into my big toe. So off I went for a couple of stitches and a tetanus shot.  I'm OK though. Just have to go back to get it checked out tomorrow and then to get the stitches out in 10 days. Hopefully, everything heals well. Anyways! Back to minis...
I finished the front.

This is the porch ceiling. All popsicle sticks
And the floor of the porch.
I wired all 3 lights to 1 switch. This light kit is powered by a 9 volt battery which I'll hide in the upstairs curtains.

I'll try to finish it up tomorrow. We'll see how it all comes together. It will be ready to go home to Cheryl Monday for sure. is the last voting day. Thanks to all of you who voted. You are all fantastic! <3
