The Shabby Chic Farmhouse and a French Cafe

I finally have time for a post on my projects! I've been working on two with my 2 new employees!! We started last week. Just getting it all together and figuring things out this first time around. They will be doing things like painting shingles and trims, giving houses their primer coats of paint. This will free me up to get more houses done.
So we are getting a Shabby Chic Farmhouse and a French Cafe done. Both houses are built and are now going through the detailing. The Shabby Chic Farmhouse is further along. The French Cafe needs some embellishments to arrive by mail so I'll finish it second.
The shabby Chic Farmhouse will live up to its name.  It's all white. This is a kit called Lisa's Country Cottage. I haven't made any changes to it. I love the look it has.
The front door wall is concrete sculpted into brick.
Inside, one wall has siding and the 2 others have wainscoting and a pretty boarder at the top.
The outside has 2 walls of siding.

I painted the bricks a peach color for now. I will be adding white later on. The porch floor is gray.
I'm using a mantel I had made a few weeks ago.
The "tin" ceiling is done with hot glue that is painted over white and highlighted with silver.

I added some of the accessories. I made a shadow box in shape of a house, a pink  glitter house, a cupcake painting, a white framed mirror. There is also the cake with bunting on the mantel and a couple of seashells. This time, I attached everything with Simply Tacky(a sort of museum wax) so things can be moved around.

I think this house will have two chandeliers. One inside and one on the front porch. I already love the way this one looks. More next time!
My contest ends in just a couple of days! If you haven't entered here's the link:

Teeny Weeny Shabby Streamside Studio

I got this tiny little cutie done! I was so tempted to keep it. But I can always make another. So I listed it and it's sold right away.

Even the Christmas tree turned out perfectly. I used a tiny green bottle brush tree(couldn't find a white one). I dipped it in white paint because I really didn't want to play with bleach. That was such a great thing to do. It gave the tree a substantial wait and perfect flocking look. After it dried I covered it with glue and sugar crystal glitter. I love it!
The painting above the mantel was so easy to do. Just a few swooshy dots of a mix of white, pink, red paint add leaves and you get roses. The "tin" tiles in the fireplace and on the ceiling are my painted hot glue technique done with the tiny glue gun.
The top ceiling is carved into planks. And in the loft the ceiling is covered in fabric and has a nonworking chandelier.
This back chandelier is also nonworking. I made both of them by curling wire and adding ends of toothpicks as candles then painting it all white with the candle holders silver.

This one is on its way to Melia in California. Thanks Melia!!
