Custom Gingerbread Dollhouse

It's 108 degrees outside. It's the perfect time for a Christmas project. And Deb, one of my Etsy customers and new owner of the 1920s dollhouse, contacted me about doing a gingerbread dollhouse.
First, I went shopping for fake candy, glitter that looks like sugar and snow(SnowTex). Then I doodled a little plan.
Very technical!!!
This house is going to be a custom. I used the Primrose kit by Greenleaf. I use these kits to start with because they help me stay square and I have yet to find this type of thin wood in a store. The one I have found is thicker and hard to cut.
I  flipped the house around. So the side is now the front. I cut out a new door and windows.

This used to be the front. I had to close up the front door.

I made a new back section to support the roof.

I'm going to leave this wall off so I can work inside the house. This wall will eventually have a fireplace on it.

I plastered the inside. The walls will all have a different finish to look whimsical and very, very cozy.
