What's New

I decided to frame some of the buttons I've hand painted. I bought a frame and crackled it with cream paint. Then I took a picture of the Eiffel tower I had and pasted it on cardboard. I put a pink border around it and sewed on the buttons. Couldn't put the glass back on though! Buttons are too big. Oh well!

I've also made this collage that spells out HOME. I'm not sure if I'm going to list it on Etsy. I don't know if I like it. Do you ever have these moments?

This little village I like! And so did lovetoshop9! So she bought it. Thank you!

I thought about all those summer things: cherries, watermelon, ladybugs, and the flag of course.

Busy Busy!

I've been coming up with new products for my shop! I have so many more ideas I hope I can get to them soon or my head will explode!

Teapots are what got me started as an artist. I hope to put more up on my etsy site soon!

I saw a brooch in an old Victoria magazine. And it just gave me this idea for little sail boats to put on your nightstand. I included a tiny envelope with paper to write your dreams on!
This is my cottage bookmark. I've made oodles of them in different colors. Just posted the pink one to see how it does on etsy. It just peeks out of the book and keeps your place with the door!
This is my Butter Cream Frosting Village. I've made a spotlight with them:

Itsy Bitsy Cottages Paper Houses

These are my new creations. They are tiny houses 2" or 3" tall. They are perfect to group together. These small homes will bring whimsy to any spot! I love putting them on books like in these pictures. I think they make a very happy vignette!! They are paper, actually cardboard, covered with plaster and paint.
I designed the templates, cut out all the windows and doors, created decorative roof coverings and layered on the paint and plaster.

What Makes My Heart Skip a Beat! ECS Blog Party

Majestic, French style armoires are my favorite. But I'm completely addicted to armoires in general! Whenever I see one I'm unexplainably pulled towards it. And I just have to look at the price tag of course!

Long, white flowing silk curtains are a must. And the longer the better! I hang all my curtains way up high. Makes the room taller and more elegant. And then puddle them on the floor.

Gustavian style furniture is so fairytale like. It is so whimsical and yet so very sophisticated!

Blue jeans are like armoires for me. I just can't seem to get enough of them!
Pair the jeans with diamonds and you've got the perfect outfit!
And of course which girl could possibly resist that Tiffany blue little box topped with a beautiful white bow?! Aquamarine is my favorite color. I love all shades of it. From the brighter signature Tiffany to the silver sage from Restoration Hardware.

These are my favorite things. They stop me in my tracks everytime!! Thanks Etsy Cottage Style for the great topic!
