Hi everybody!
I wanted to thank you all for the support on Tina's of Just a Small Thing's blog post. You are all so sweet and kind and I'm so happy and truly honored to know each and everyone of you. From the bottom of my heart- thank you!♥ I was so touched reading all your generous comments.
I'm still working on my new book about building fairytale cottage dollhouses. It's taking forever! I have to stop and wait for things to dry and set. And I can't jump ahead to work on other things since everything must be documented in order. Just watching plaster dry!
I'm attempting a fake spiral staircase too.
It won't really be going anywhere. It's just for looks. I used a dowel(1/4") and some jumbo craft sticks for the steps. We'll see how it fits in!
Until next time...
Hello Caroline. I am sure that your new project will be dreamy! We will wait you to finish it:))

I bet that staircase is going to look amazing. I can envision it even now!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the end result.
Better to watch the plaster dry than watching a pot of water to boil...lol
Happy Crafting

Hi Caroline,
ReplyDeleteHOpe your book is coming along well.
Miss seeing you post....course, I understand why.
Love that cute lil spiral staircase,
we know someone who owns a bed and breakfast, and they have a cottage
with stairs just like that going up to a loft. Actually now that I think about it, my daughter and hubby had those same type of stairs in their apt. going up to a loft.
They are cool, and you made them
perfectly.
Hope all is well in your corner of the world.
Blessings hon, Nellie

Love the spiral staircase! Did you drill little holes for the dowel? How did you do that so that the sticks don't crack?
